AION 2 Server List: Regions, Names, Pairings, and Transfers

Check AION 2 commercial-launch server names, regions, Elyos and Asmodian pairings, and choose a world without splitting from your group or faction.

AION 2 Server List: What Is Confirmed

The AION 2 server list is a high-intent commercial-launch question because your region affects latency, time-zone overlap, guild recruitment, and the friends you can meet in open-world content. The official Steam announcement now lists the global commercial-launch servers and explains that each server belongs to one faction: every Elyos server has an Asmodian counterpart.

How AION 2 Server Pairing Works

Choose region, then faction, then a server. Elyos and Asmodians live on their own servers but meet in cross-faction activities such as Spacetime Rifts and the Abyss. The publisher pairs an Elyos server with an Asmodian counterpart for a limited time and says those pairings can change periodically to help balance factions.

Commercial Launch Server Names

The following names were published for the global commercial launch. An asterisk in the official announcement identifies an Advanced Access server; names below without that marker are the newly listed commercial-launch worlds.

Current Server Pairings

The official announcement pairs Elyos and Asmodian worlds for faction balance. Pairings can be updated periodically.

AION 2 Server Choice Checklist

  1. Start from the official AION 2 site or the platform page linked by it.
  2. Select the region closest to the group you will actually play with.
  3. Compare time zones before committing to a guild or faction.
  4. Confirm the client language separately from the server region.
  5. Check whether character creation is restricted on a busy world.
  6. Do not assume that server transfers or cross-region play will be available.

If a world looks unavailable, full, or unstable during launch, check the AION 2 server status guide before switching regions or restarting the client repeatedly.

Server Region Versus Client Language

The announced language list and the server list solve different problems. A client can support multiple languages without making every server language-locked. Choose a region for stable latency and social availability, then set the interface language that helps you read combat, quests, and party instructions.

The global language information includes English, French, German, Spanish for Spain, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, and Korean. Availability can vary by platform or service region, so confirm the final selection in the launcher and account settings.

Early Access Server Planning

Eligible Founder Pack players are scheduled to enter Early Access on September 30, 2026. The early-access server wave is important for groups because open-world progress is tied to the selected world. Dungeon matchmaking may be broader within a region, but you should not assume that questing, guild membership, or character transfers work across every server.

The official announcement says server transfers are planned to begin October 14, initially free, and limited to the same faction. Advanced Access players will initially transfer only between Advanced Access servers, not commercial launch servers. Instanced content, including dungeons, is available cross-server.

Before launch, write down:

  • Your preferred region.
  • Your group or guild's target world.
  • Your planned faction.
  • The backup world to use if the first is full.
  • The platform and account path each player will use.
